Peanut Butter & Apple Sandwich

Two pieces of “long” bread
1 green apple, washed and sliced
Cinnamon Peanut Butter
Cream Cheese
Caramel Sauce

Spread Peanut Butter on one slice of bread, sprinkle with generous amount of cinnamon (especially if you aren’t using cinnamon PB), place apple slices on top of PB.  Spread cream cheese on other slice of bread, drizzle with caramel sauce.  Place both pieces of bread in toaster oven and toast on low, you just want to warm the apples a bit and make the bread a bit crusty, leave it in two long and you’ll have a melty, gooey mess.  Remove from toaster oven and place cream cheese piece on top of the apples (cream cheese facing down).  Let set for a minute or two, cut and enjoy with the remaining apple slices.

**This is a modified version of my favorite sandwich at PB Loco.  Unfortunately, they closed after the second time I went there, so now I have to make the sandwich on my own from memory.**
